ARTELEY Hub&Lab is a space for applied research, legal experimentation and advanced consultancy run by ARTELEY, focused on studying and resolving emerging challenges at the intersection of intellectual property, technology and the creative industries.
Conceived as a knowledge-transfer environment, ARTELEY Hub&Lab analyses the impact of digital transformations —such as generative AI, the Web3 environment and new cross-border business models— on copyright, related rights and industrial property.
Our aim is to provide creators, agencies, designers and cultural enterprises with preventative legal tools and rigorous, cutting-edge analysis, ensuring that innovation and the protection of intangible assets converge safely and efficiently.
Open call: areas of participation
ARTELEY Hub&Lab operates as a living ecosystem. We view legal practice not as a static archive, but as a process of co-creation and critical analysis alongside the actors who shape contemporary culture. We are opening the following avenues for collaboration and virtual residency:
01 / Ideas in the ignition phase (business models and launches)
A research hub dedicated to corporate projects, high-impact start-ups and designer brands in the launch phase. We assess the level of regulatory stress associated with novel business models, disruptive digital platforms or high-end design collections prior to their market launch, among other cutting-edge initiatives.
02 / Mutating processes (AI and creative flows)
An analytical strand aimed at creative studios, communications agencies and production companies that integrate generative AI systems and hybrid technologies to study the traceability and optimisation of commissioning matrices.
03 / Archaeology of intangibles (heritage, brands and legacies)
A line of research aimed at established corporations, agencies with a proven track record and creative structures possessing a rich heritage of intangible assets, to develop methods for revaluation and risk mitigation.
ARTELEY Hub&Lab seeks a space of absolute freedom to experiment by combining legal and creative thinking.
ARTELEY Hub&Lab is committed to the inviolability of intellectual property and the strict confidentiality of its collaborators, with the aim of creating networking spaces, round tables, events, publications and reports focused on developing methodologies for resolving technical and legal disputes and generating opinion pieces that serve as a reference within the sector.
Applications for corporate research and diagnostic sessions are subject to limited annual quotas. Interested organisations may submit a brief overview of their commercial infrastructure to hub_lab@arteley.com.
